A place for pattern
The woven texture of a rattan sofa gives print a natural setting. Mix broad stripes with a smaller-scale print, picking out a shared colour to bring the cushions together.
Choose outdoor sofa cushions to suit the depth of your seating: larger squares at the back of a deep sofa, with a rectangle in front. On a smaller seat, one square and one rectangle leave more room to sit.
Three ways to bring it together
Stripes and warm timber
Blue and white striped outdoor cushions give a timber sofa a clear colour direction. Repeat the stripe at either end, with a smaller rectangle between.
Colour on a metal sofa
Deep blue, teal and charcoal work together against a dark frame. Mix square and rectangular plain cushions to vary the proportions.
Florals on a garden bench
A floral cushion can draw on the planting around a bench. Choose one colour from the flowers or foliage and repeat it in a nearby pot or another cushion.

Standard outdoor cushions
40 × 40, 43 × 43 or 45 × 45 cm squares; 50 × 30 cm rectangles.
A neat starting point for a garden chair or a smaller seating area. Measure the usable space between the arms before choosing.
Large outdoor cushions
50 × 50 cm squares; 55 × 35 cm rectangles.
Add a fuller cushion to a garden sofa or roomy chair. A rectangle also layers comfortably in front of a square.
Extra Large outdoor cushions
60 × 60 cm squares; 60 × 40 cm rectangles.
Choose a generous cushion for deep garden seating. Check the back height and leave comfortable sitting space in front.

Waterproof outdoor cushions
Our cushions are made with soft, waterproof fabric for everyday outdoor use. Bring them indoors during heavy rain and when not in use.
UV-treated fabric
The fabric has a UV-protective coating. To help preserve its colour and finish, store cushions indoors when not in use, away from prolonged direct sunlight.
Machine washable at 30°C
Remove the inner before washing the cover. We recommend machine washing at 30°C. Allow the cover to dry fully before putting the cushion back together.

We print the design on both sides of each cushion and cut, sew and finish it in our UK studio. Inside, the cushion inner is filled with 100% recycled fibres for a generous, comfortable shape.
Frequently asked questions
Can waterproof garden cushions stay outside in the rain?
The fabric is waterproof, but we recommend bringing cushions indoors during heavy rain and whenever they are not in use. The waterproof claim applies to the fabric; the complete cushion should not be treated as a sealed, watertight item.
Will the cushions fade in the sun?
The fabric has a UV-protective coating, but prolonged exposure to strong sunlight can still affect colour over time. Bring cushions indoors when not in use to help keep them looking their best.
How should I store my garden cushions?
Keep them indoors in a dry place when not in use. If a cushion becomes wet, allow both the cover and inner to dry completely before storing it. Avoid packing cushions away while they are damp.
Do the outdoor cushions come with an inner?
Yes. The cushions come with an inner filled with 100% recycled fibres. The zipped cover is removable for washing; remove the inner before machine washing the cover at our recommended 30°C.
