Rectangular cushions for sofas and armchairs
A rectangular cushion brings a different proportion to a group of squares. Place one in front of a pair on the sofa, or use a single oblong cushion on an armchair where you want a little colour without filling the whole seat.
Pick out a colour from the print for a plain velvet cushion. Stripes work well alongside florals and animal designs when the colours have something in common.
Choosing your cushion size

Rectangle cushions for beds
Place one rectangular cushion in front of your pillows for a simple arrangement, or pair it with squares for more layers. A plain colour keeps the bed looking calm, while a floral, stripe or animal print draws the eye. Pick out a colour from your bedding to bring the pieces together.
Considered on both sides
Our patterned rectangular cushions carry the design on both sides. The print is mirror-matched and aligned at the seams, so either side can face out.
Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the right rectangular cushion size?
Measure the space you want the cushion to fill and compare it with the cushions you already have. Leave room to sit comfortably on a sofa or armchair. For a bed, check the cushion’s width against your pillows and the arrangement you want to create.
Do the cushions come with an inner?
Yes. Our rectangular cushions come complete with an inner, made in our UK studio using 100% recycled fibres. The zipped cover can be removed for washing.
Can I wash the cushion covers?
Yes. The covers are removable. We recommend machine washing at 30°C, with the cushion inner removed.
Are oblong cushions the same as rectangular cushions?
In cushion descriptions, “oblong” commonly means an elongated rectangular shape. Compare the measurements when choosing your cushion.
